DRUG ALERT: K-2 Spice (Synthetic Weed)- is a new drug product that has begun to appear in a limited number of drug markets in the United States... DEA has placed an emergency ban on Spice, the chemicals will be designated as Schedule I substances, the most restrictive category, which is reserved for unsafe, highly abused substances with no medical usage. Effects are reportedly analogous to marijuana but include additional dangers to users such as panic attacks, heart palpitations, hallucinations, delusions, vomiting, increased agitation, dilated pupils, & other symptoms.
